Hi, my name is Neysah, and I’m sharing my story because I’m a single mother and full-time nursing student doing everything I can to build a better future for my son.

I found out I was pregnant in October 2024 when I was 6 weeks and some days in. At the time, I believed my partner and I would face this journey together. At the time I was working and taking pre-requisites for nursing school, he was my only source of financial support. I later learned that he had been unfaithful with multiple women, and our relationship became deeply unhealthy. Despite the mental, emotional, and physical strain I was under, I stayed longer than I should have because I felt trapped and afraid of losing stability while pregnant and in school.

I also entered this situation carrying unresolved trauma from my past, which made it even harder to leave. Even while struggling emotionally, I pushed myself to keep going because I knew my child deserved a present, loving, and determined mother.

In January 2025, while pregnant, I began nursing school and worked tirelessly to keep up with classes and responsibilities. In June, I gave birth to my beautiful son. Shortly after, I lost my job, leaving me without income while continuing school full-time and caring for my baby on my own.

Today, I am a single mother actively searching for work while continuing my education. I’m asking for help to cover essential needs such as diapers, formula & more baby essentials. This support will allow me to stay focused on completing nursing school and creating long-term stability for my son.

This has been one of the hardest chapters of my life but it will not define my future. I am committed to healing, growing, and becoming the nurse and mother my child deserves. Any support, whether through donations or sharing, means more than I can express.
