For Newtown High School in Elmhurst, Queens NY, I help alumni and teachers kept in touch via news, obituaries, school events, reunions, and more. It takes much time and energy. In the case of the yearbooks, money, as I spent my own money to buy yearbooks from eBay or Newtown, mostly for sharing with the Facebook alumni group, but from time to time I would get a request via email. Over the years, I already spent over $1,000 on a number of yearbooks. To keep the yearbook project sustainable, I would like to have the alumni’s participation. I hope to snatch yearbooks on eBay as they become available. Usually when I visit Newtown, I also get one or two books.
