Support your new village sports pavilion

We need your support for an exciting project that will greatly benefit our community: the redevelopment of Newick Sports Pavilion. This is a vital hub for local sports & recreation, serving as the home for Newick Rugby, Cricket, Football and Stoolball Clubs as well as local children's and adult groups.

These clubs provide vital opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to participate in sports, promoting health, wellbeing, and community spirit. However, the current pavilion is outdated and no longer adequately meets the needs of our growing, diverse, community.

Many of our sports clubs have run for many decades, if not hundreds of years, and bring a huge amount of fun, friendship, health and even economic benefits to Newick and surrounding villages, as well as welcoming teams from far and wide.

We envision a redeveloped Newick Sports Pavilion that offers:

Modern changing facilities, improved social areas, and enhanced accessibility - making the pavilion inclusive for EVERYONE in our community.

Newick Sports Pavilion is a Charitable Trust, and has already raised £500,000 for this project. However, to make this vision a

reality, we need to raise a further £50,000 to contribute to the building development, which begins very soon, in Spring 2025.

Every item of the new pavilion, from the furniture to the fabric of the building, needs to be budgeted for, so every penny really helps this great cause, creating a lasting legacy for all.
