Hi, my name is Leah, and I am the founder and CEO of Build a Water Project, an international, youth-led nonprofit dedicated to expanding access to clean and safe drinking water in underserved communities.

I started Build a Water Project after leading a school-wide initiative focused on raising awareness about the global water crisis. What began as a single campaign quickly grew into something much larger. Since then, I have built a team of passionate student leaders and volunteers, and together we have funded and constructed over 20 clean water wells in rural communities in Bangladesh in partnership with a local NGO.

Through this work, I have seen firsthand how access to clean water can transform lives—improving health, allowing children to attend school, and empowering entire communities. But the need remains urgent, and millions of people still lack access to this basic human necessity.

We are currently raising funds to support our next phase of projects. While specific locations are still being finalized, all donations will go directly toward building sustainable clean water solutions in high-need communities, including wells and other water access infrastructure.
