Protecting and Preserving New Song for Our Children
Dear Friends of New Song Community Learning Center,
We want to say a big THANK YOU to everyone who gave to our first fundraiser! Because of your generosity, we were able to keep New Song students in their home school until the end of this school year on July 15th!
We are also happy to share that a new Board of Directors has been established and is working to ensure New Song Learning Center effectively serves our Sandtown-Winchester community for the future. We are working to identify ongoing programming and funding and anticipate plans to begin an Early Childhood program for the youngest members of our community.
Now, we are facing our next big hurdle - to continue serving our children and families safely, we urgently need to get the New Song Center building back into tip-top shape.
Right now, we are facing two major structural challenges that require immediate attention, alongside our plans for growth:
- A new HVAC System: To ensure our children and families have a safe, healthy, and comfortable environment to learn and thrive in.
- A New Roof: To protect our historic building from the elements and keep everyone inside dry and safe.
Could you find it in your heart to support this urgent and important need? Any amount you can give-large or small-will go directly toward bringing safe educational programming back to the children of Sandtown-Winchester.
Even if you cannot donate at this time, you can still make a massive impact by sharing this link with your family, friends, and networks. No matter how you choose to support us, you are becoming part of a lasting legacy of blessings for underserved children and families. Thank you for standing with New Song!
Sincerely,
