Help us organize more Jewish advocacy events in the Cleveland area!

The organization of Jewish advocacy events in Cleveland is a movement started by Catherine Catino of Solon, Mark Liner of Solon, Lilly Schwartz of Chagrin Falls, and Sarah Popivker of Cleveland Heights. Our goal is to raise awareness about Israel, the hostages, and antisemitism in the Cleveland area, first and foremost accomplishing this goal through strength in numbers.

We are blessed to see such outpouring support from the community, and hope to see advocacy for Israel and the Jewish community continue to grow from here!

Our first event in Solon on September 8th, 2024 was a huge success! With about 150 people in attendance, we were able to show the community that Jews and those who support Israel are strong and unified, and are unafraid of those who declare themselves to be our enemies.

However, the largest obstacle to organizing these events is the cost. For our first event, in total we spent nearly $1000 out of pocket on food, decorations, and flags, which are vital for events like this in order to maintain large crowds. We are grateful that the Solon Police and Jewish Federation Security offered to protect this event for free, however the Jewish Federation made it clear that this would be a one time thing, and that their security services are regularly hired for a fee.

To ensure that we can maintain events that are secure, fun, and large, we need some help from the community with raising funds. Please consider donating to this important cause, as there aren’t any other organizations in the Cleveland area who are actively working to unify the Jews and supporters of Israel, aside from mainstream well funded organizations like the Jewish Federation itself. Any donation large or small will be greatly appreciated!

We were able to gather over 100 people to our first event, and our dream is to be able to gather 1000+. We can only do it with your help!!!
