I'm making this GoFundMe for my 22-year-old cousin, Nevaeh, who was in a tragic car accident last Saturday, 12/13/2025.

After a devastating accident driving home from an overnight shift, she was airlifted from the scene where she remains in the hospital today. Surrounded by machines, doctors, and uncertainty, her medical team works to understand the full extent of her injuries.

Nevaeh has suffered multiple broken bones. She has crush injuries to her arm and leg, injuries so severe that she faces multiple major surgeries—including reconstruction of her knee, heel, and forearm. Doctors have warned that her leg may require a cartilage transplant . Her pain is unimaginable, and her recovery will be long and exhausting.

But what breaks her heart the most isn't just the physical pain; it's being away from her daughter. Nevaeh is a single mother to a precious 2-year-old little girl—a toddler who doesn't yet understand why Mommy isn't home, why she can't be picked up, or why bedtime hugs and kisses are suddenly missing. Every day in the hospital, Nevaeh fights not just for herself, but for the chance to be there for her daughter again.

Because of this accident, she is unable to work, and the vehicle was completely destroyed. The future feels overwhelming—medical bills, surgeries, rehabilitation, physical therapy, childcare needs, transportation, and basic living expenses are piling up, all while she lies in a hospital bed with an uncertain road ahead.
