On May 23rd at 12am, my siblings and i got the devastating call from our step mom that our dad had unfortunately passed away on the night of May 22nd in his home due to underlying and untreated health issues that had been occurring for a couple years. this was an unexpected thing for us all. his parents lost their only child , and me and my siblings lost our father . our cousins lost their uncle, my nephew lost his grandpa, my step brother lost his step dad, and my step mother lost her husband . he had so many labels and was loved by all. he always was known as the funny man he always was. for my 19 years with him , i can tell u i never saw him angry or blank faced . he always had a smile and you’d never be able to tell the battles he’s going through . he always put everyone before himself . this being said , my step mom and his parents are having a tough time having to figure out funeral costs , the costs of the cars , costs of crime scene cleaning in the house and the money for breaking the lease . any amount helps, we are just kind of stumped .
