We are promoting #localmusic across NC. We are excited about local music happening close to your home. How close to music are you?

Our new website continues to operate with fixed monthly costs. Your gifts sustain us, and we move forward.

We have been blessed with new pull-up banners, t-shirts for events, and business cards with new websites, etc., to name some examples. Also, we have continued to help musicians as needed such as a medical bill or immediate transportation needs. Those often come in $50 gifts as our account, your giving allows.

I expect and understand you saying and feeling, well, here comes another ask.

The attorney letter captioned by the photo speaks well of great news that we are in the acceptance phase for 501c3 status. Thank you for help in funding that step.

At the 501c3 level, we have a much larger audience that listens even more intently. Thus, you and others become avid followers. Businesses, individuals, and grants become our audience.

I want thousands attending local music in every community of our state. Oh, to enjoy, take pics and videos, and be BANDS AND CLUBS SHARERS to thousands statewide.

With tax-deductible status and hard work from hundreds of volunteers needed (23 now), DREAMING thousands of dollars flow in, and our branding becomes larger.

HOLD ON There is no magic wand that money just flows with 501c3 status. Still hard work and reality check that less than 100 will give to this campaign. I wish to beat those odds. $10 GOES FAR, BIG HEARTS AND WALLETS have given $100 or $200 individually.♥️

DREAMS

I envision some billboards, tons of social media on steroids, and media searching us out as the voice of local music.

We will be major players offering assistance to festivals and other music events. The slogan of the Chamber of Local Music fits our mission well. A street team for local music!!

GoFundMe has offered good structure for our campaigns alongside donations in person at many events.

A board of directors, regular meetings, and excellent minutes and bookkeeping are all in front of us per the 501C3 structure.

Our goal is $3000 to put us on the positive side of the setup. Truth being said, about 70 people have stepped up in our campaigns, giving $10 to $100. Where is everyone else of our combined 25,000 followers on multiple platforms? We have worked hard for that response.

WE MUST WORK HARDER!
