Join me in supporting the National Peace Corps Association (NPCA) for Giving Tuesday!
From 2005-2008, I served in the Peace Corps in Uzbekistan and then Suriname. Those years were both the most challenging of my life and the most rewarding. I shared cultures with the communities that welcomed me. I learned new languages. Together, we worked on community economic development projects and raised awareness about health and education. We laughed together, learned from each other, and grew both as individuals and as part of the global community.
I now serve on the Board of NPCA, which supports volunteers when they return home. The organization provides learning and engagement opportunities, advocates for the Peace Corps, and promotes service here in America. To learn more about NPCA, visit https://www.peacecorpsconnect.org/.
Donate today to support the important work of NPCA, the Peace Corps, and Returned Peace Corps Volunteers (RPCVs) across the U.S. and worldwide.
And if you've never served, let's talk! You can also learn more here: https://www.peacecorps.gov/.
