On July 27th, I’m running the San Francisco Half Marathon in honor of someone who means everything to me — my mom, a breast cancer survivor and the strongest person I know.

When my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer 10 years ago, our world changed. But even through the fear, the treatments, and the uncertainty, she never stopped fighting and carrying on through life with a smile. Her courage, resilience, and unshakable spirit carried our family through and continues to inspire me every single day.

I'm raising funds for the National Breast Cancer Foundation. They provide early detection, education, and support services to women affected by breast cancer.
