Hi, I’m Jenn. I’m Nathan’s big sister, which means I’m permanently on standby for the “your brother’s in the ER again” calls. This jerk has a big heart… apparently a little too big, because he just survived a widow maker heart attack from a massive blood clot. Regular emergencies clearly aren’t dramatic enough for him. Doctors moved fast, which is the only reason he’s still here, and I’d really like to keep it that way.

He already lives with serious physical disabilities, a traumatic brain injury, and PTSD, and now he’s recovering from this too. His new medications are expensive even with insurance, and he still has $986 a month out of pocket because he’s allergic to aspirin and NSAIDs, so the simple low-cost options most people rely on aren’t possible for him.

He’s the one who always shows up for everyone else. Now this jerk needs us to show up for him.
