Doctors moved fast, which is the only reason he’s still here, and I’d really like to keep it that way.

<div>He already lives with serious physical disabilities, a traumatic brain injury, and PTSD, and now he’s recovering from this too. His new medications are expensive even with insurance, and he still has $986 a month out of pocket because he’s allergic to aspirin and NSAIDs, so the simple low-cost options most people rely on aren’t possible for him.
