I'm in Monrovia but my moms house is way closer to the fires. The neighbors said my momma and B were instrumental in keeping theirs and other neighbors houses safe. They took shifts staying awake and putting out literal fires that popped back up. BTW they are still burning roots and popping up here and there. Be diligent and safe out there

My momma Erin Comstock and step-dad Brian North live in North Pasadena, just south of Altadena (Lake and Woodbury).

They and oh so many of their neighbors have been affected by the Altadena (Eaton) fires. They were fortunate enough not to lose the house or garage. But they lost the second little 10 x 10 guest house, tool shed, N S W fences, their gardens.

A few years ago when they had the other 10 x 10 guest house burn down insurance didn't cover everything. I wish I'd posted a GFM then.

Houses, guest houses, garages, fences, etc., are leveled.

Lots of cleanup, organizing and repairs to be done.

They are going to need gas and all sorts of different supplies going forward.

Who knows how long it will take to get the financial aide they will be needing from the insurance companies or maybe FEMA.

Who knows when there will be consistent work again

They could use a lot of immediate help financially.
