Nancy’s daughter, Abby Friederich, is organizing a GoFundMe account on her behalf.

Many of you know mom suffered a spinal cord injury in May 2024 that left her with no use of her lower body and in a wheelchair. After months in the hospital, followed by several months in rehab, she moved into an assisted living facility back in Danville. Her goal is to live on her own, but finding handicapped accessible housing in Danville has proved to be extremely challenging. While we continue to explore options, her current housing costs have skyrocketed. Even though she is working, it’s been challenging for her to meet the increased costs. We have set up this account in hopes that people might be able to help her with these rising costs while we actively continue to look for independent housing.
