Hello everyone, my name is Nancy, and I was highly impacted by the fire that occurred at University Riverside Gardens this past Friday, May 29th. I attend UCR as a full time student from Los Angeles, California. I left all of my belongings inside, which included all of my clothing, personal items, and, overall, the memories that I lived with in my apartment.

My unit was labeled as Code Red, so therefore I will most likely never be able to even see if I can recover any of my things. The transition has been very stressful and overwhelming. I am having to pick myself up as much as I can, but it has been extremely difficult.

I am writing this to hopefully receive some help from the community. I am going to use the funds to purchase clothes and groceries, as many of my belongings were lost. I also plan to save a portion of the funds to help cover future housing expenses and other essential needs. Any donation or share means everything during these difficult times for us all.
