The Naladalapur School is a small school in a rural village in Naladalapur, India. Serving both boys and girls from kindergarten through 10th grade, the school operates Monday through Saturday with around 15-20 students per class and one classroom per grade level. While the school provides education to many children in the area, it lacks essential resources such as general school supplies, a PA speaker system, and a well-stocked library. To help improve the students’ learning experience, our nonprofit is working to provide these much-needed materials. This initiative follows a previous project by the Nonprofit, Crayons for Kids, lead by Jane and Anna Rydin where funds were successfully raised for a school in Honduras, and we hope to make a similar impact here.
This effort is led by the Challa and Rydin families. As a member of the Challa family, I visited India in the summer of 2023 and had the opportunity to see the school firsthand. During our visit, we noticed the school had very limited supplies and funding, which inspired us to take action. We founded the Naladalapur School Program (NSP), an extension to the Crayons for Kids nonprofit, to support these students. With your help, we can make a meaningful difference in their education and future.
