My cousin Myron Hales had a bad accident on Aug 5th, and the result of his fall was extensive surgery with lots of hardware to repair the number of fractures to his hip. There is a lot of healing and therapy ahead for Myron, and it is sounding like at least a few months without work. If you know Myron, you know he’s the first to step up when someone needs help, and the last to ask for it. His support of the community through FFA, 4-H, rodeo, Jubilee Days Chairman and even running his own boot, shoe and leather repair shop is such a source of pride for he and Monica and now I’m hopeful the community will give back to them. With their medical bills mounting, ongoing physical therapy, home-health nurse needs, etc…all I can think of to do for them is to try and raise money so we can at least lift that burden of worry over finances for now.
