Hi everyone,

My name is Justin, and I’m 16 years old. When I was just 2, I was diagnosed with ocular myasthenia gravis (MG)—a rare autoimmune condition that causes muscle weakness, especially in the eyes. After a few years of treatment, I’m grateful to have become symptom-free.

Last year, I launched my first fundraising campaign, “Fencing for a Cure,” inspired by my journey as a competitive fencer. Fencing taught me discipline, resilience, and mental strength—and it gave me a way to give back to the MG community.

After a fencing injury, I had to step away from the sport—but not from the cause. This year, I’m continuing my efforts through my new campaign, “Set It Forward,” alongside my journey as a varsity volleyball player.

My goal remains the same: to raise awareness and support for those living with myasthenia gravis. Every donation helps fund research, education, and resources for patients and families affected by MG.

I’m grateful for how far I’ve come, and I hope to help others continue their fight.
