Hello, my name is Anthony Landa and I am helping raise funds for my girlfriend Mya, who recently suffered the unimagiable loss of her mother Monica.

On July 7th at 3:15 PM, we said goodbye to Monica, an extraordinary woman whose presence lit up every room and every life she touched. She was not only an incredible Wife, Mother, Daughter, Cousin, Tia and friend, she was a once in a lifetime kind of soul.

Monica had a heart that loved deeply, gave endlessly, and embraced every child as if they were her own. Her kindness, her laughter, and the way she made people feel seen and loved, that was Monica. She was rare and irreplaceable.

Above all, Monica’s greatest wish was to see her daughter, Mya, succeed. She dreamed of Mya graduating from college and building a bright, beautiful future. That dream now lives on through Mya, a strong, determined young woman who carries her mother’s hopes in her heart. This will help Mya pay for her tuition, housing, and more when it comes to continuing her education at San Jose State.

But, Mya needs support. Monica was her sole parent, her guiding light, and her biggest cheerleader. And while she is fiercely motivated to fulfill her mom’s dream, she can't do it alone. We are asking for help not just for Mya, but to honor Monica’s wish for Mya to succeed.

Let’s come together to give Mya the future her mother worked so hard for, a future filled with purpose, success, and hope. That is what Monica would have wanted. And that is how we keep her love alive.
