Support my Volunteer Umpire Journey to Williamsport & Oregon
Tax deductible
I've been selected this year by Little League International to umpire at TWO major tournaments:
1) June 6-8, 2025, the Second Annual Maria Pepe Little League Baseball® Legacy Series, a tournament for girls who play BASEBALL rather than softball. 96 girls and 12 female umpires will take the field at the famed Williamsport Little League stadium complex (Williamsport, Pennsylvania) for an incredible weekend of celebrating "Girls With Game"!

2) July 24-31, the Junior League Baseball West Regional tournament. This is the level before the Junior League World Series, for players aged 12-14, and the West region covers the 10 westernmost states in the U.S. This one is played in Bend, Oregon.
For each of these, Little League will cover my housing, food, and tournament shirts. That leaves all of the travel, required uniform components, and tournament pins for us to cover, plus the cost of time off work. Stephane will be coming with me to Oregon, but not Williamsport.
So... I'm inviting any of my friends or family that can spare a few bucks to partner with me in giving back to support youth baseball. By donating to Sunshine Little League (a 501c3, and my home league where I am on the Board as Umpire in Chief), your donation will be fully tax-deductible. Sunshine will return the full donated amount to me for travel expenses.
The last major Little League tournament I did, two summers ago, was the Europe-Africa event in Novara, Italy, where I met my now-husband. Nothing can ever top that, but I'm sure these tournaments will be an incredible experience, giving my time and skill to the youth baseball community, especially to the GIRLS in Williamsport! Thank you in advance for any help you can provide. I know times are tight for everyone, so please give only if you feel inspired.
