Hi, our names are Belle and Ian Orogo, and we are raising funds for my sister, her husband, and their newborn baby who arrived much earlier than expected.
At just 27 weeks, my sister gave birth to a very tiny but incredibly brave baby weighing only 620 grams. Although both my sister and the baby are now stable and receiving the care they need, their journey is far from over. Their baby needs to remain in the hospital for several more weeks to continue growing, gaining weight, and becoming strong enough to go home. My sister also needs to stay in the hospital as part of the care program, which adds to their daily expenses.
In just four weeks, their hospital bill has already reached over ₱500,000 and it continues to increase each day as they receive ongoing care.
Their journey is still ongoing, and the doctors estimate that the baby may need to stay in the hospital for an additional 6 weeks or possibly longer to continue growing and gaining strength. This means their medical and daily expenses will continue to rise in the coming weeks.
As their family, we’ve seen firsthand the strength and sacrifice it takes to go through something like this. My sister is doing everything she can for her baby, while her husband has been working tirelessly—caring for both of them and doing his best to keep up with the financial demands. This situation has brought not only emotional stress but also a heavy financial burden on their young family.
I am starting this fundraiser because I want to help ease that burden. I want them to be able to focus on their baby’s recovery and on staying strong together, without constantly worrying about how to cover the growing expenses.
All funds raised will go directly toward their hospital bills, daily room costs, and medical care for both my sister and the baby.
Any amount, no matter how small, would mean so much to our family. Your kindness, prayers, and support will help lighten the weight they are carrying during this challenging time.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
GOD BLESS everyone
—Maria Belle and Ian Orogo
