As many of you know my mother, whether as my friend or a fellow classmate, you're aware of her remarkable attributes: caring, strong, intelligent, and giving. Now's the time for us to show our appreciation. My mother's perseverance had paid off, and she had built a life in a community she loves. Unfortunately , the recent floods have taken everything away. On Wednesday, May 14, 2025, my mother had to be rescued from her WV home by boat. Her car is totaled, and her trailer is severely damaged, with most belongings lost due to over 3' of water. She's currently staying with friends and facing tough decisions. I'd like to make things easier for her, as I know how much her home means. Her heart is heavy, and she's starting over. I want to make this transition easier. She needs a new car, trailer, furniture, clothes, appliances, and more. Any donation would be greatly appreciated, as my mother has given so much; now, it's our turn to give back to her .
