Hi everyone,
I’m creating this fundraiser for my mom during one of the most difficult seasons of our lives.
Recently, my mom received a diagnosis of metastatic cancer, and her prognosis has been challenging. Things have progressed quickly, and we’ve found ourselves navigating a confusing and overwhelming healthcare system. While she does have some insurance, coverage is limited, and she doesn’t fully qualify for many of the services that could help her during this time.
My biggest priority is making sure my mom is comfortable and supported. I want her to have what she needs physically, emotionally, and mentally. That includes comfort items, medical-related expenses not fully covered, and the ability to enjoy the things that bring her peace and happiness.
Unfortunately, in her younger years, she did not have life insurance, and she does not have savings. When the time comes, all arrangements and expenses will fall on me. As her only child, I am doing everything I can to prepare so that financial stress is not something we have to worry about during such an emotional time.
I’m not wealthy by any means, but I want to give my mom dignity, comfort, and the ability to have her wishes honored. I want to be able to focus on being present with her—not worrying about how I will manage everything alone.
This fundraiser will help with:
• Comfort and quality-of-life needs
• Medical-related and supportive care expenses
• Transportation and daily necessities
• Future arrangements when the time comes
• Relieving financial stress during this transition
Every dollar raised will go directly toward supporting my mom and helping our family through this chapter with peace and stability.
