Support My Mission Trip with the Graceful Warrior Project

Hello!

I want to start by sharing that I don’t make any money from these trips. Your donations directly support the mission of the Graceful Warrior Project. Your generosity helps cover my travel expenses so I can donate my time and skills to creating content that grows the organization (Like the one I created that's on this GoFundMe page). This content raises awareness, brings in more donations, and ultimately supports the safe house and local community in Tanzania, where help is truly needed. By having volunteers like myself fundraise our way to Tanzania, the organization can save money on covering our travel costs and instead put those funds directly into the safe house and community where they are most needed.

In January 2023, I had the life-changing opportunity to document the Graceful Warrior Project’s mission trip in Tanzania. That experience deeply impacted me, strengthening my faith and redirecting my life toward something greater. I returned in June 2024, where I led media content creation and worship, capturing the heart of the mission and uplifting the team and the girls through music. I’m returning for a third year to document the experiences out there for the organization, but ultimately, I’m doing this to honor God and be in His service, helping to continue growing the organization through beautiful, professional content.

The Graceful Warrior Project's Mission

To equip local, indigenous leaders through four pillars of self defense: Physical, Spiritual, Intellectual & Economic. GWP believes that a holistic, well rounded and locally led approach is the key to seeing real and lasting change. This organization does miracle work through God to empower women out of crisis, into leadership and independence.

During our time in Tanzania, our team’s main mission will be leading a summer camp for the school-aged girls in the safe house and surrounding area. In this time, each person from the mission team will have the chance to utilize their gifts to teach something new and fun to these kiddos and young adults. We will help support in worship each morning, general tasks, updating the safe house, as well as manual labor to continue building on the safe house where our girls live.

We will also visit our other leaders in Tanzania that rescue girls but do not have their own safe house yet, visit the local partner church, and visit the local elementary school down the road from the safe house. There we will teach these girls about GWP’s 4 pillars of self-defense and strategize ways to keep girls safe while walking long distances to school. (The chances of these little girls being raped on the way to school are staggeringly high)
