I am currently volunteering as a paramedic with IVHQ at the Frankadua Roman Catholic Clinic and in nearby villages in rural Ghana.
In these communities, many families go without even the most basic things we often take for granted — clean water, bandages, school supplies, or even a meal for the day.
Too often, people wait weeks with untreated wounds until volunteers arrive. By then, infections have spread, and what could’ve been simple care becomes a painful and dangerous struggle. Many of these patients urgently need hospital treatment but simply cannot afford it.
That’s why I’m raising funds to:
Help send the most vulnerable patients to hospital for proper treatment
Support families in need with essentials that can change their lives.
To give you an idea of what your support can do: •
£80 — sends a child to school
⚽ £12 — buys football boots for a child
£5 — treats malaria in two children (1 in 3 people in Ghana have malaria)
£27 — provides antenatal care for a mother
