This summer, I have the opportunity to volunteer in Guatemala for one week in a medical brigade. Alongside a dedicated team of volunteers from my university to help provide free medical check-ups, medical care, and health education to vulnerable populations in rural Guatemala. These populations often lack access to essential healthcare services.

With the support of trained doctors and volunteers, we will provide medications, treatments, and preventative care to those who cannot afford or regularly access these services.

Your donation will help me cover the costs related to this trip, ensuring these communities receive the best medical support possible. Specifically, your contribution helps fund medications, medical supplies, and transportation. Your contribution can help us make a long-lasting impact on these communities, allowing us to reach as many people as possible.

Last summer I also had the opportunity to do a medical brigade in Panama. Here we acreated mobile clinincs in a local school and in a church, providing healthcare and medical attention, laboratory rapid testing, dental care (hygiene and extractions) and medications to about 400 local patients.

Este verano, tendré la oportunidad de participar en una brigada médica en Guatemala durante una semana. Junto a un equipo de voluntarios dedicados de mi universidad, brindaremos consultas médicas, atención básica y educación sobre salud de manera gratuita a poblaciones vulnerables en zonas rurales que, habitualmente, no cuentan con acceso a servicios médicos.
