Support My Marathon by Supporting ARTC!

Would you like to support me in my marathon journey and a great organization at the same time?

I am currently training to race the Hamilton Road2Hope Marathon on November 5th!

Leading up to this bucket list race, I am raising money to donate to the Adult Recreational Therapy Centre (ARTC).

The Adult Recreation Therapy Centre is a not-for-profit adult day program that offers structured activities and support to individuals living in the community looking to maintain/improve physical, cognitive, and social function. Some of our clientele have had a Stroke, have Parkinson’s disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Mild Cognitive Impairment, Dementia or other progressive chronic conditions. ARTC believes all individuals regardless of their abilities, have the right to live a purposeful and active life.

ARTC strives to create a welcoming, integrated, friendly atmosphere where clients, caregivers, and supporters can come to enjoy the company of others, exercise in a safe environment, and work on maintaining and increasing their quality of life and well-being.

I work at ARTC as a Kinesiologist and witness the benefits the program has for the community every day!
