On Tuesday, January 27th, 2026, our lives changed forever. My mom found my sweet brother in his home. There are no words that fully capture the shock and weight of this loss. We are still trying to understand how to breathe through something we never imagined facing.

We are deeply grateful that a close family member has taken on the weight of covering cremation and memorial expenses. That burden has been lifted, and it is a priceless gift. Even so, our family — especially my mama — needs support during this time.

As many of you know, my mom owns a small business. She is now facing the unimaginable task of grieving the loss of her son while also navigating the reality of stepping away from work. Taking time to grieve means lost income, ongoing business expenses, and everyday bills that do not pause for heartbreak.

We don’t yet know what the coming days or weeks will look like, but we do know we cannot walk this road alone.

This fundraiser is to help cover living expenses, business overhead, and basic needs while my mom takes the time she needs to grieve, heal, and simply survive this season. Any amount given will go directly toward supporting her during this time of profound loss.
