Support My Journey to Gaza to Demand Aid Access

Hi, my name is Dane. I'm an Australian living in Brisbane who is deeply moved by the ongoing genocide in Gaza. Like so many around the world, I’ve watched in horror as Palestinians have been cut off from food, water, medical supplies, and basic necessities. Not because help isn’t available, but because it is being deliberately blocked.

I believe we all have a responsibility to do whatever is within our power and capacity to stand up when we see injustice. I cannot sit back and do nothing. That is why I am raising funds to join the March to Gaza on the 12th of June. This is a powerful and peaceful movement organised by international human rights advocates to demand that aid be allowed through and that the siege on Gaza ends.

Right now, I have the opportunity to go. I am between jobs and have no current commitments or responsibilities preventing me from making this trip. The only barrier I face is financial. I am asking for support from those who may not be in a position to attend themselves, but who have the means to help someone else go on their behalf.

I will be documenting the journey and sharing updates, photos, and news from the ground with all of my supporters through social media. I will also be collaborating with Justice for Palestine Magandjin in Brisbane to ensure the stories and voices from this movement reach our communities back home.

This journey is not about politics. It is about people. It is about standing in solidarity with families who are starving, children who are being bombed, and communities who have been denied their humanity for far too long.

Every dollar raised will go directly towards the costs of joining the march. This includes flights, ground transport, accommodation, food, water, and any necessary fees to participate safely and effectively. Any funds left over will be donated to trusted humanitarian organisations that are delivering aid to Gaza.
