Hi, everyone...
My name is Yuliia Ponomarenko. I am originally from Ukraine, but I have been living in the United States for 9 years, while my family has been living in Mariupol,Ukraine. I have never imagined in my life an event like the horrific Russian invasion of Ukraine which completely change the life of a lot of people and my family.
Many people have reached me out to offer a help. If you feel like you want to help and support my family in Ukraine this is the opportunity. I created this 'Go Fund Me' for my 7 family members who were able to safely evacuated from trapped-hero city Mariupol, Ukraine on the March 25th. They survived 26 days in the cold basement without electricity, running water and very little food, cooking outside, making the fire, taking wood from the parks because there was no other options to survive. My family coudn't leave their home because were surrounded by active shelling and local roads became unreliable with blockades and checkpoints.
Mariupol was home to over 500,000 people, the port city is in ruins after four weeks of almost non-stop Russian shelling, 90 percent of the buildings were hit and burned.
My Family Kirovich lost almost everything in Ukraine and have to start all over again. My parents Michail and Inna are generous people and never put their welfare in front of others. Additionally, they will never ask for help.
Any donations will be given directly to my family in order to assist with food, housing costs, clothing, essentials, gas money for a next step of evacuation and accessing psychological support for a kids Nika, Sofia and Eva once they are able to begin to process the ongoing trauma.
I would just like to say that any help and support would be hugely appreciated by myself and my family members in these difficult times. If anyone has any questions whatsoever please feel free to contact me at [email redacted]
Support of any amount is deeply appreciated more than could ever be expressed and most importantly, please pray for Ukraine!
Thank you!
