Emergency: Help Evacuate alshaqra family From GAZA WAR
Donation protected
Hallo I am Hadeel, a Palestinian high school student from Gaza in my final year (12th grade). I am writing this message from one of the most dangerous places in the world, where we have been living under constant bombing and destruction since October 7. This was supposed to be the year I graduate from school and begin my journey to university and achieving my dreams — but the war has taken everything away.
We are living in extremely harsh conditions, suffering from severe shortages of basic necessities like water, food, electricity, and internet access, making it nearly impossible to continue my studies.
My family consists of just three people. My mother suffers from diabetes and was recently diagnosed with high blood pressure due to the overwhelming psychological stress we are experiencing. My father is elderly and unable to work; the war has deeply affected him both mentally and physically, leaving him unable to provide any source of income. We survive on very little, and we don’t know how we will manage to keep going.
Despite everything, I’m still holding on to my dream of graduating and studying a major that will allow me to support my family and community. My greatest wish is to complete my education in a safe place and rebuild my future.
But we are a torn family — some relatives have been displaced outside the city, while others are trapped in areas we cannot reach. We long for a moment of reunion, but even that dream feels far away, as the cost of safe passage out of Gaza is $5,000 per person, a figure that is far beyond our means.
Any support, no matter how small, can bring real hope to us. We deeply appreciate your solidarity from the bottom of our hearts.
