My name is Sam, son of Eric Sauvageau who’s recently been a victim of a $20,000 fraud scheme.

An unknown group of thieves stole my identity and contacted my father as me and told him I was in custody for a made up crime & that I needed cash quickly…These thieves used every trick in the book and even got a fake lawyer to call my dad as well. My loving Father unfortunately went full “dad mode” and proceeded to choke up $20,000 in cash to “me” and “my lawyer”. Authorities were alerted day of, and a case was opened, this has done nothing so far. My father’s insurance company is also not willing to cover him in any way.

Today I found out he wants to sell his vinyl, records and music player collection to try to bounce back. He is refusing to take money from my Mother, Brother & myself. So i’m opening this GofundMe to add my own funds anonymously and if anyone would like to help him to at least half of what was stolen from him, they’re more than welcome to.

Like I had mentioned before, I’m mostly doing this to add my own money without him knowing it’s from me.
