Support My Continued Mission to Feed the Hungry

Donation protected
Hello, and thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

Would you like to help me put food DIRECTLY into the hands of hungry people?

My name is Robin Eno. As a retired dietitian nutritionist, I have the time and burning desire to feed needy people.

If you have ever brought a tray of homemade food to a soup kitchen, you know how good it feels to be making a very direct difference in a hungry person’s day. If you would like to feel this wonderful feeling vicariously through me, please keep reading.

Why am I asking for money? Because I have already purchased (with my own money) the kitchen infrastructure and the food (with my own money) I have already fed to hundreds of people. My kitchen is up and running (with my own money). I certainly could use some help with the food costs, though. This is why I have created my fundraising page.

I am so committed to this cause that I have given up about a third of my RV and truck living space to Stone Soup, my humanitarian mobile kitchen. I live full-time in my Casita travel trailer, and I bring Stone Soup with me as I travel the United States. I set up Stone Soup when I visit places where people suffer from food insecurity, malnutrition, and flat-out starvation.

Stone Soup has all the necessary infrastructure to carry out quantity food production: two 30,000 BTU cooktops, ample propane, a griddle surface, professional large pots and pans, tables, chairs, a shelter, a sink setup, a pantry of non-perishable foods, and many other items necessary for a pop-up kitchen. Volunteers appear out of nowhere to help me with food prep, feeding, and cleanup.

I started Camp Stone Soup this year (2024). I have already fed people at Burning Man 2024 (Nevada) and Convergence Wellness Festival 2024 (New Mexico). I have partnered with other portable relief kitchens and food pantries this year, and I plan to continue doing so. I am proud to say I have already fed nutritious, delicious food to hundreds of people.

A few days ago, I returned to Quartzsite, Arizona. A large percentage of people who live here in their RVs live below the poverty line. A number of local organizations provide assistance for those in need. I will be joining them by partnering with the local food bank and preparing meals (some people cannot afford propane to cook food). I will collaborate with the Homes on Wheels Alliance and other relief organizations this winter.

Some of the food will be purchased with my own money. Anything more will help me carry out my humanitarian work more successfully—more meals and a larger variety of foods served.

Perhaps you have a few dollars to contribute to my front-line humanitarian kitchen. Any and all money you contribute to Camp Stone Soup will go directly and completely to my feeding of the needy.

Even if you choose not to contribute at this time, if you would like to see photos of what I am accomplishing, please send me your email address.

I am in the process of making Stone Soup a charitable organization.

Thank you for considering Camp Stone Soup as a beneficiary of your financial contribution. I wish you well.
