Hi Family and Friends, I am starting a GoFundMe for my older brother Mario G. He is currently hospitalized with severe interstitial lung disease (scarring) from possibly an autoimmune issue. Some of his lab work showed some positive markers for a connective tissue disorder. The last few days have been a roller coaster because he has been on and off high-flow oxygen, retaining CO2, and going unresponsive, with discussions about lung transplant vs. hospice. My brother has decided on hospice. The new meds for the autoimmune issue have been started and they are trialing him off high flow and he has been doing good. We are needing some financial assistance to help with moving expenses, medical, or other expenses that may come up that we have no clue about at this time. He wants to remain in California; he knows no other place as home, but he can't return to his old living situation because it's not safe for him now that he is going to require more assistance. The goal is to find him somewhere comfortable and peaceful that he can enjoy the rest of his life in peace. We have faith in God for complete healing. Psalms 91:1-6 NLT
