Hi, I’m Wendi, reaching out for my brother Kevin, who recently had very unexpected triple bypass surgery.

On May 28, Kevin went to Urgent Care after experiencing shortness of breath and chest tightness. Tests revealed he may have suffered a heart attack, and he was rushed to the ER at Sharp Memorial Hospital. An angiogram showed three severely blocked arteries—two at 99%. Doctors believe the cause is likely genetic, as Kevin is otherwise young and healthy.

He is now home recovering, being cared for by his wife, Cindy.

He’s healing very well and his prognosis is good but recovery and rehab from bypass surgery is going to be a long road.

Kevin’s always been the heart of his family, working hard alongside Cindy to support their two college kids, Kyra and Wren. But with Cindy recently laid off due to budget cuts, and now Kevin being unable to work for three months, they are facing very tough times with medical bills piling up and daily expenses. We’re aiming to raise $10,000 to help with medical bills, medications, and rehab, as well as groceries and monthly expenses. Your support will give Kevin peace of mind to focus on healing, and Cindy can take care of him as well as work on finding a new career opportunity.
