Hi, I’m E’Layjiah! I am 24 years old. What began as a volunteer trip across Africa turned into something life-changing—I met three incredible children who became my heart. I’m now in the process of adopting them, with full support from their families and my community.

In order to receive my foster care license I have to 1st maintain a Tanzanian residency and work permit. I also must live in Tanzania for 2 and a half years to qualify as a foster parent, and 3 years to legally adopt. While covering legal fee's for the next 3-4 years both in the country, and in the states. Now in need of hiring security for all of our safety as unpredictable things could possibly impact our future. I have a long journey that will require a lot of patience, and resources.

I’ve already invested everything I have into securing a safe home for us, plus covering their essentials. I’m now asking for the help of my community, my village, so we can take this first step together.

This is just the beginning of a long journey, but I’m not giving up on them. With the support of their families and mine, I’m doing everything I can to reunite us. Time is not on our side, but love is.
