Hey,
I'm E'Layjiah. I am 23 years old, and what started off being a volunteer trip through numerous African countries turned into me meeting the 3 most precious joys of my life. Now we're currently working towards adoption with them. There are so many rules, but the first one is... In order to live in Tanzania, I must receive my work and residency permit. Which costs $3k for a Class B work permit, and $2k for my lawyer fees to work on the entire project. Before my visa expires, which is very soon, I was hoping to apply within the week! I have the support of their families and my community, but time is not on my side. I unfortunately don't have $5k just to give after getting my home, paying their school fees, and all of our essentials. I am seeking my community's help in this first of many steps.
- If we go over, my separate goal is to buy land and build a home under a beneficiary for the girls when they get older. This way, even if we leave, they will always have a home they can come back to.
- Money will go towards new clothing for the girls, school supplies, house essentials, bills (including school fees for next year), future court bills, and all necessities.
