Hello friends, family, and neighbors! I'm raising funds to directly support a group of restaurant workers in South Minneapolis affected by the ongoing occupation of the MSP metro area. The people I'm fundraising for are personal friends of mine from my time living and working in the Twin Cities--they are hard-working community members who have contributed so much to South Minneapolis. Beyond that, they have been generous and kind co-workers, friends, and mentors to me and become like second family. I want to show them the same love and care that they have shown me and help them remain safe, stably housed, and fed during this difficult time. Your contributions will go directly to aiding our beloved neighbors in the form of (a) groceries and (b) rent relief.
