Hello everyone!

This fundraiser is in support of Ms. Linda Parker-- a Frederick advocate, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.

If you know Frederick, you probably also know Ms. Linda Parker. Through her charity efforts establishing free produce for SNAP recipients in her community or her work with the Housing Authority of the City of Frederick, Ms. Linda has been a valuable member of the Frederick community for many years. She is a woman who puts her own needs aside to prioritize the needs of her family, friends, and community. She uplifts, protects, and provides for everyone she meets; and though she has many grandchildren and great-grandchildren to look after, the love she has for her community and friends remains boundless. Ms. Linda appreciates the value in simple kindnesses and chooses to see the good in all people-- and such is evident when you meet her. It's hard to have a conversation with Ms. Linda without walking away with a good feeling.

Ms. Parker's section 8 voucher has allowed her to move into the three-bedroom apartment of her dreams along with her daughter, great-grandson, and kitties where she can grow her garden and make jewelry for her friends. Her family is so excited! However, she is looking back into the community of which she has put her own time, energy, and love for assistance in collecting the last few dollars she needs for her housing fees.
