Support Ms. Hanan as she supports our community

Hello! I am writing this on behalf and with consent from Ms. Hanan Shabazz.

As many of you know, Ms. Hanan has served our community for many years. She knows how to cook with love!

Recently, she was granted the "2020 Ruth Fertel Keeper of the Flame" award through the Southern Foodways Alliance. She is grateful for that honor. Here is some awesome footage that Ms. Hanan gave of herself if you would like to know more. Keeper of the Flame Award - 2020

Last month, Ms. Hanan had her vehicle stolen. Days later, it was found and considered totaled. In it was her brand new "retirement" fryer that was to be her way to continue serving and making a living. She needs to replace both.

All of the publicity she has received has come without compensation. I believe there are many of us who would like to support her through monetary donations. Give freely with love and thanks!
