One of our own is facing an incredibly difficult battle. Our beloved Ms. Gilliam—known to so many of us as Ms. G—is currently fighting a debilitating illness and has been hospitalized for the past week and a half. As we approach the holidays, our hearts and prayers are with her, hoping she will be able to return home in time for Christmas.

Ms. G has always been a source of kindness, strength, and support for her students, colleagues, and families. She shows up every day with a giving heart and a selfless spirit. Now, she needs us to show up for her.
