Help Mother of 6 struggling to provide for her family after her Husband and her Brother- the primary income earners for the household, and earnest hard working men, were apprehended by ICE without a warrant or warning on their way to a job site.

Since then both men have been detained and are fighting deportation. M has exhausted every resource working to secure their release while also trying to support the household and care for her children, with only the help of her 22 year old stepson D.

M is now facing a reality of trying to support six children, including three still in diapers (K–6 months) and one child with a complex blood disorder who needs regular care, on her own. After three months of facing this fight alone, M has reached the end of her rope and needs our support.

Additionally, she and her two oldest, both school-age children, are asylum seekers themselves. They are living in constant fear that they could also be detained - imagine what that could mean for her other children.

Both beloved Father and Uncle are missing family milestones. And all the while, the bills keep coming while the income has vanished.

* Keeping rent and utilities paid so the family has a stable home

* Paying for food, diapers, and basic necessities for six children

* Covering phone calls, legal-related expenses, and communication with detained loved ones

* Support medical costs and transportation for the child with the blood disorder

I met M and D through my volunteer work with a grassroots community group helping our most vulnerable neighbors.

All funds will be used exclusively for the family’s immediate needs.

Ayuda a una madre de seis hijos que lucha por mantener a su familia después de que su esposo y su hermano —hombres trabajadores y dedicados que eran el principal sustento del hogar— fueran detenidos por ICE sin orden judicial ni previo aviso mientras se dirigían al trabajo.

Desde entonces, ambos hombres permanecen detenidos y luchan contra la deportación. M ha agotado todos los recursos para lograr su liberación mientras intenta mantener el hogar y cuidar a sus hijos, contando únicamente con la ayuda de su hijastro D, de 22 años.

M se enfrenta ahora a la realidad de tener que mantener sola a seis hijos, incluidos tres que aún usan pañales (K, de 6 meses) y uno con un trastorno sanguíneo complejo que requiere atención constante. Tras tres meses librando esta batalla en solitario, M ha llegado al límite de sus fuerzas y necesita nuestro apoyo.

Además, ella y sus dos hijos mayores —ambos en edad escolar— son solicitantes de asilo. Viven con el temor constante de ser detenidos también; imaginen lo que eso supondría para sus otros hijos.

Tanto el padre como el tío, figuras muy queridas, se están perdiendo momentos familiares importantes. Y, mientras tanto, las facturas siguen llegando aunque los ingresos han desaparecido.

* Pagar el alquiler y los servicios básicos para que la familia mantenga un hogar estable.

* Comprar alimentos, pañales y artículos de primera necesidad para los seis niños.

* Cubrir los gastos de llamadas telefónicas, trámites legales y comunicación con sus seres queridos detenidos.

* Costear la atención médica y el transporte del niño con el trastorno sanguíneo.

Conocí a M y a D a través de mi voluntariado en un grupo comunitario de base que ayuda a nuestros vecinos más vulnerables.
