Our Lynn Road Family Needs Your Help

Our kind, thoughtful, hardworking, multitalented, and caring custodian, Mr. Godswill Umukoro, is truly the heart of Lynn Road Elementary. He works tirelessly year-round to keep our school running—building furniture, fixing issues, and making sure teachers and students have what they need. He is always there with a smile, a helping hand, and a laugh that brightens our days. We affectionately call him the king of our school—a rose among the mostly female thorns!

Sadly, Mr. Umukoro recently experienced the unexpected and devastating loss of his youngest brother, Benjamin. As the oldest of six siblings, this has been a soul-crushing loss. Yet even through his grief, he has continued to show up for our school family—just as he always does.

Now, it is our turn to show up for him. The cost for him to travel home to Nigeria is great, but being surrounded by family during this heartbreaking time and laying his brother to rest is priceless.

If you are willing and able, please help us send Mr. Umukoro home. He is one of those unsung heroes who keeps our school running behind the scenes, and he deserves to feel the same love and dedication he pours into our community every single day.
