My name is Cara Scrudders, and I am the cousin of Morgan Sills-Fain. I am asking for support for their family as things have taken a turn recently for Morgan.

Morgan had Rylee 4 weeks ago via C-section after being placed in a coma as she went into congestive heart failure. Rylee was delivered safely; however, Morgan's heart had trouble recovering. She finally was able to make it home for a few days before she had symptoms that landed her back in the OSU Emergency Center. From here, we were told she had a pulmonary embolism, multiple clots in each lung, and a large thrombus in her heart. Her heart has stopped working correctly and can only function while on IV medication and has blood infusions to help keep up her platelet count at this time.

She is waiting diligently and praying daily that the clots start to shrink in her lungs so she can be placed on the heart transplant list as she needs a new heart. However, this can be a difficult process, and her heart can give out before this is accomplished. She still has not been able to be with Rylee or her other daughter, Hensley.

I am asking for donations to support the family during this hardship, whether that supports the costs back and forth to Columbus and bills or for end-of-life support. I ask that you pray for comfort and for Morgan to be able to recover from this.
