Hi everyone,

My name is Marlene Ford, and I’m asking for your help from the bottom of my heart. My family and Friends in Montego Bay Jamaica has lost almost everything after Hurricane Melissa tore through our community. The storm left behind heartbreaking devastation; homes were destroyed, roads washed away, and lives turned upside down in just a few hours.

Our family home was badly damaged. The roof is gone, most of our belongings were ruined by the flooding, and we’re trying to salvage what little we can. My loved ones are safe, thank God, but they’re struggling without electricity, clean water, or steady food supplies. Seeing the place we once called home in ruins has been one of the hardest things we’ve ever faced.

I’m raising funds to help my family start rebuilding and meet their most urgent needs.

We’re a proud, hardworking family, but this disaster has taken everything we’ve built over the years. Any help, no matter how small, will make a huge difference. If you can’t give, please share this story so others might see it and lend a hand.
