I’m reaching out to ask for help for someone very special to me, my cousin Monica.

If you know Monica, you know her bright smile and laughter can light up a room. She’s funny, kind, and always the first to offer help, even when she’s struggling herself.

Three years ago, Monica experienced an unimaginable loss. She was the full-time caregiver for her beloved mother, Thelma, who passed away unexpectedly. In the midst of her grief, Monica was left with the family home, a place filled with memories, love, and history.

Living on a fixed income and with help from family, she’s done her best to keep up with the mortgage and essential expenses. But with rising costs and limited resources, she’s now at risk of losing the home.

We’re starting this GoFundMe to help ease the burden and raise enough to cover future payments and provide her with some breathing room as she works to stabilize her finances.
