Support Mona's Legacy & Her Loved Ones Leighann & Ozzi

Ramona “Mona” Louise Plummer, passed away on March 3rd, at the age of 78. She was born on January 21, 1947, in Silver City, NM and lived in Albuquerque, NM. Through the end, Mona carried herself with strength, and full of love for those who were with her in her final hours.

While our hearts mourn the loss, we take comfort in knowing she is no longer suffering. We are so grateful for all that the doctors, nurses, and staff at Presbyterian Hospital and SW Women’s Oncology Group did for our mother. We cannot thank them enough for their compassion and support in her final hours.

While Mona was working at Sandia National Labs, she met the love of her life and beloved husband Tom Plummer. They got married in June 1967 and celebrated their lives together for almost 50 years before Tom’s passing in December 2016. She was kind, generous, compassionate, loved her entire family, worried about them, rooted for them, protected them, forgave them, and always kept on loving them.

Mona was proceeded in death by her husband, Tom Plummer; daughter, Kara Plummer; parents, Albert Carmignani Sr., and Elisa Carmignani who all will be waiting for her at the Door to Heaven.

She was survived by daughters Tiffany Plummer Castellvi, Leighann Plummer; grandchild Ozzi Plummer; and by her sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, cousins, grandnieces, grandnephews, and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 28th at 10:00am at Risen Savior 7701 Wyoming Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM. Mona’s final resting place will be alongside her beloved Tom Plummer at Gates of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to the Saranam Program. Our beloved Mona passed away on March 3rd from Ovarian cancer. She was a wonderful and loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who touched the lives of all those around her.
