Support Mom's Move and Stability

After 47 years of marriage my mother found herself divorced, with no retirement and the loss of the house she and my father lived in. Ever since she has struggled to get by as my father has been behind on alimony for years and she has no other source of income. Due to a fall that left her physically and neurologically impacted she is unable to work and scrapes by with whatever alimony he does provide and her SS. Me and my siblings do what we can to provide her with funds but the farther behind the alimony gets the harder it falls on all of us to provide for her basic needs.

Now her landlord is selling the home she has been renting and she is having to move. Having suffered through many hardships the past few years we are hoping to allow her to stay in the area to be near the main joy in her life, her two grandchildren. From moving expenses to a housing/rental market that has only increased in costs this is proving to be a very costly and traumatic experience for her. My siblings and I are hoping to build her a cushion to provide for all the immediate expenses as well as help with rent/bills while our father (who is 83 years old) pursues avenues to make money in order to catch up her owed alimony payments.
