The Murals of the Mind Project is on a mission to empower and transform the lives of young people through youth development that promotes creativity, critical thinking and leadership. Through our Literacy 360 Workshops Program (Lit 360), youth ages 7–17 and college-aged young people gain skills in:
- College & Career Readiness
- STEM Exploration
- Life Skills & Financial Literacy
- Cultural Exchange & Arts Integration
- Leadership & Critical Thinking
- Mentoring
Our goal is simple but powerful: raise $10,000 to expand Lit 360 and reach more youth in 2026. We’re taking on this challenge in two milestones:
- $5,000 by Giving Tuesday (December 2) – fuel winter workshops beginning in January.
- $10,000 by December 31 – sustain the program and expand access for more youth during summer break.
Over the past 10 years we've helped more than 4,000 young people reach their education goals.

But here’s the challenge:
Despite the growing need for youth development programs, many families cannot afford additional workshops or mentorship programs.
That’s why we need your help.
To expand Lit 360, we need to raise $10,000 in the next 90 days. These funds will cover workshop materials, teaching resources, technology access, guest speakers, and program expansion to reach even more young people in our community. With your support, we can keep these workshops free with the tools so youth can excel in school and in life.

- $150 – Supports one life skills session for multiple youth participants.
- $250 – Funds a full financial literacy module, giving young people tools to manage and grow money responsibly.
- $500 – Underwrites an entire cultural exchange experience for a group of youth to connect with global perspectives.
- $1,000 – Sponsors an STEM introductory workshop with hands-on projects that spark innovation and problem-solving for multiple youth.
