My mother recently had a spinal cord injury that resulted in limited mobility of her arms and no sensation from the waist down. She is now wheelchair bound and needs assistance with normal daily activities like feeding and dressing herself, among other things. Unfortunately my parents’ house is not able to accommodate her current needs and she will be coming home from inpatient rehab on July 10th.

Mom was a huge crafter, between knitting, crocheting, sewing and felting she was always using her hands. She loved to make projects to donate to different charities for those in need. She is an Army veteran and avid volunteer to our community. This is a complete lifestyle change that is devastating to all of us.

I am looking for help with paying for remodeling their bathroom so that she is able to use it, placing a ramp in the house so she can get to her bedroom and bathroom, and getting a wheelchair accessible van.
